Caffista was born out of the shared vision of two friends
Ishan, having completed his research on the effects of caffeine on student performance during his studies at Swinburne University of Technology, recognized the need for a coffee product that specifically targeted students and busy professionals seeking a caffeine boost. He identified a market gap in Sri Lanka for a coffee product that focused on the cognitive benefits of caffeine and provided a convenient option for those on the go.
Soorya, a close friend and companion of Ishan, shared a passion for crafting a coffee brand that offered a superior taste and an unparalleled coffee experience. He noticed that the coffee brands available in the Sri Lankan market lacked the rich and satisfying flavor that true coffee enthusiasts crave. Additionally, he saw an opportunity to redefine the packaging of coffee products, making it more appealing and convenient for our customers.
